I saw the boots but just not sure, look a bit like what Darth Vader might wear to avoid slipping over.

The wristwarmers are brilliant. I've had mine for two years now and they still look new. I might buy some more this year.

I too have those wristwarmers, bought them last year when there was a 20% off accessories promotion, and love them.

Love the fact that they're warm and a good length, and as they're not too bulky can be rolled up.

can you actually bend your foot in those boots? that's what always put me off snow boots, do you have to stomp? Also how non-slippy are they? I seem to (involuntarily) use sliding on my bottom as my main form of transport as soon as there's ice.

The grey version of those boots look like they've been wrapped in a foil rescue blanket...

WEnt in my local (recently refurbed and extended) M&S yesterday with money burning a hole in my pocket. Needed black leggings but wanted other stuff as well. It was unbelievably shite. Couldn't get the black leggings and there wasn't a thing I even considered wearable in any of the areas (per Onion, Classic(arf - Nan-wear), Indigo (WTF is that about then?).

Ended up spending £66 in New Look on leggings, skirt, trews for work and a chiffony blouse thang. Went home happy.

But come ON, M&S!

Ime you have to go to the big stores

the grey boots are naff, the wristwarmers are nice and long, plus keep hands warm but allow you to do things like use keys, mobile phone, etc

I rarely have the car in the week and walk everywhere, so after freezing feet in the winters of 2009/10 and 2010/11, I bought some similar snowboots last year - we then had quite a warm winter so I couldn't make the most of them, but it's good to know there sat their waiting for me this year. There are some that'll be jealous when you have nice toasty feet and theirs are freezing!
