Baaaaaa, over here.
I'll go first-
Best- coloured skinny h& m cords/ jeans, and a slouchy grey jumper from whistles, the bird print scarf from eBay sorted out 7 ( yes, seven) birthday presents in july- have to hope they aren't all wearing them in the same room at once, hush harem pants. It's made me think about CPW items , do the Wendy's look book tuck too and currently try out Paula's choice skincare...

Worst- made me furtively browse £££ websites that I never would have dreamt about and spend over £100 on ankle boots ( which are luverly tho)...
Stupidest/ most useless purchase was salicylic peel reccd on the sizzlers thread
What about you?

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 09/10/2012 14:42

Best:

Liz Earle Stuff
Elemis stuff
Coconut oil, I use it on my hair and my face.
Chanel vitalumiere foundation

Worst:

Babyliss Big hair! My hair is naturally wavy, I like it that way. No idea why I bought itConfused
Merrell Wakefield. Not sure why, not keen.

Caerlaverock · 09/10/2012 14:44

Best uniqlo cords
Worst mineral makeup, instant old lady face

Best: OCM and rosehip oil

Worst: Being tempted in buying lovely pieces in quality (wool, silk) fabrics. Who did I think I was kidding? I have a small baby and live in a household where neither adult can be trusted to filter out non-machine-washables before loading into drum :(

Christmas78 · 09/10/2012 15:27

What's the MN haircut?! Intrigued...Grin

Hopefully · 09/10/2012 15:30

Ooh yes, Rosehip oil. Awesome stuff.

Christmas78 · 09/10/2012 15:32

Hmmm found a YouTube of the haircut. I'm tempted! It looks great and I'm broke...

jen127 · 09/10/2012 16:07

Aciiid
Mineral make up
Liz Earle colllection
Hush Harem pants
wrap tshirt scarf top gorgeous
Barbara Daly primer
Australian shampoo and conditioner

Worst : Glossy box

I am such a sheep Baa!

fedupofnamechanging · 09/10/2012 16:28

Best things:

The Revlon equivalent to Clinique chubby sticks - they are lovely.

All the things I have bought from TKMaxx - S&B has awakened my love of the place.

Lots and lots of boots.

Worst thing:

Kate Moss Rimmel red lipstick (shade 001). It is too dry and matt and just doesn't suit me.

Itsgottabebags · 09/10/2012 17:25

Bottom butter
Revlon equivalent to the clinique chubby stick

MsOnatopp · 09/10/2012 19:39

Worst: Mineral make up. Just does not work for me. I have very dry skin in patches which I am working on. Plus I think loads of make up ages me when I am pretty young any way or makes me look chavy.

I hate that people here call it the 'MN Haircut'. For years and years it has been known as the Gypsy haircut. I was doing that before I saw it on MN and I think the choppy style suits me now but can't imagine it will suit me (or anyone) when the wrinkles kick in. It's such a young adult/teenage cut. IMO. Already considering growing it out but I think I will try hang on to it for another year or so.

Best: Superdrug hot cloth cleanser. Does great things for my dry skin.

dexter73 · 09/10/2012 19:50

blatherskite - I got them last week from Field and Trek. It was only the brown in size 8 that were reduced to £45. Luckily I have big feet!

Blatherskite · 09/10/2012 21:08

Ah, that's not going to work for my teeny feet then :(

MarshaBrady · 09/10/2012 21:54

Hell yeah Amber. Credit's all yours.

Am grateful for that one. And Shop's pistols.

Such a nice day, remember it well. Even the family got on well, while I sped shopped and threw down £150 for £450 Marants.

Loved it.

I haven't bought any of the mn stuff either, but would be up for trying the rosehip oil.

Best:
OCM. Totally, absolutely, completely transformed my face.
Sally Hansen airbrush leg stuff transfomed my pale chicken skin legs. I have worn skirts all summer for the first time since I was a child.

Worst:
Shu Eumura eyelash curlers. I should have stuck with my elderly Boots ones.

GreenEyesAndHam · 10/10/2012 06:39

Best -
St Moriz self tan. Not saying it's the best fake tan out there, but it's as good as anything else for that little money.

Worst -

BBH. Just no. What was I thinking?
Lidl perfume. If I had a cat, I might possibly spray it around the litter tray to cover the smell of cat pee. But then again perhaps I'd just live with the pee smell.

Best:

rosehip oil
BBM (swishy Dallas hair for me)
Lily Lolo makeup
Avon glimmerstick eyeliners
OPI Nail Envy
Coconut Oil (all credit to MissFoodie for that)

Worst:

MN haircut
springy hair remover. Utter shite. I may as well wish them off.
