'Stop Staring' - Anyone? Question on sizing!

Does anyone have experience of their sizing? I am probably inbetween their L and XL !

The hourglass dresses are lovely and really hold you in. I am considering them as bridesmaids dresses but maybe not smart enough.

To add to the above I'm a 14/16 and bought a 14 and feel magical in my dress - wore it to 3 weddings over the summer w a pashmina and heels. Had to pin the cleavage a bit and added a few stitches to the slit at the back as I'm 5'9 and it was a bit too high!
