i never used it, i don't know nothing about it, they was giving samples at shopping centre, doesn't means i like to use it, but i dont know how does it work? does it have any affect on the hair? for just leaving the chemicals in your hair without washing it.
is it good and i am wrong.

It's fantastic. I've needed to wash my hair every day since I was a teenager. Now thanks to Batiste I can get away with skipping a day. I tried Tressame before, Batiste kicks its arse.

Itsgottabebags · 29/09/2012 22:56

Home bargains have the regular size at a good price last time I looked. I bought the biggest can when it was on special at Superdrug at the same price as a regular can.

googietheegg · 30/09/2012 02:10

How do people with curly hair deal with the brushing out bit? I use tongs on my frizzy wavy hair (I sound lush) and brushing out batiste just gives me a dull powdery frizz ball.

Levantine · 30/09/2012 07:12

I love it too. My hair is wavy and quite fine and since I have started washing it less it looks much much better. I know, sounds yuck but it is true

MummysHappyPills · 30/09/2012 07:15

That's a tricky one googie! I have very straight hair that is fine in texture that shows the grease very easily, so dry shampoo is just what I need sometimes. I find all my friends with thicker curlier hair can get away with not washing it for day's before it looks greasy anyway! Grin

MummysHappyPills · 30/09/2012 07:18

Oh and I imagine the brushing out bit is only necessary to get rid of the powdery look, so perhaps use sparingly or use one of the coloured ones if you have brown hair and don't bother with the brushing part?

theoriginalandbestrookie · 30/09/2012 07:23

I have it but I am not convinced by it. Firstly it reaks to high heaven and secondly my hair is definitely better with it than without if I don't have time to wash it but it does look a bit heavy and lank. I try to make sure I have time to use my ghds as well to straighten as that takes out some of the weight - but then I think if I have time to do that I would be as well washing my hair !

Zwitterion · 30/09/2012 07:48

Googie I just spray and massage it in. No brushing out.

Those of you thinking about the brunette one - just check your ears before you leave the house and if you run your hands through your hair later you'll end up with grubby nails.

And don't wear white!

treadonthecracks · 30/09/2012 07:51

SausageSandwich - you used too much, start with just a few tiny sprays and see what you think.

BonnyDay · 30/09/2012 07:53

But unwashed hair smells

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 30/09/2012 08:01

I find the few light sprays approach doesn't
work because I have such thick hair, if you don't hold the can in fairly close it ends up on the surface rather than the roots which is where its
needed. If I brush it out my hair goes flyaway, if I leave it in it stinks and I do wear a lot of white tops, it's just got too
many drawbacks for anything other than emergency use.

CanIOfferYouAPombear · 30/09/2012 08:07

I love the brunette when, tops my roots up for me when I can't be arsed to do them Grin

CeeceeBloomingdale · 30/09/2012 08:26

I'm not a fan at all but then I have thick dark hair so it doesn't look dirty very quickly so I suppose it's not aimed at me anyway. Years ago I found a bit of talc did a better job.

Ambi · 30/09/2012 08:51

Love it, I only discovered it last year. Until then I had to wash my hair every day, and it was becoming dull and frizzy due to hairdryer or tying it up wet. I now wash it twice a week and spray batiste when I need it , the condition has improved massively. I like the blush fragrance, don't use the coloured one even though my hair is dark brown. Just tie my hair up for a shower, spray quickly round the roots, shower then brush out afterwards. The steam helps get rid of the excess spray.

CharlotteBronteSaurus · 30/09/2012 08:54

love it. I am a proper greaser and without it would need to wash my hair daily. I am blonde though, so less prone to looking dusty.

kerstina · 30/09/2012 09:15

I don't think its healthy for anyone to be washing their hair every day surely ? If you do what is the condition of your hair like?
I don't use the dry shampoo that often but it is useful if your hair is starting to look a bit greasy at the roots. My hair is fine and prone to being greasy by my ears but I try and only wash it twice a week and it is in fairly good condition.

topsi · 30/09/2012 15:20

tried it once then threw it away it stunk!

colditz · 30/09/2012 15:41

I have thick curly hair, and use it occasionally. I don't brush it out, I get a towel and rub it in well.

It makes my hair massive, which is the only drawback, but if I'm wearing my hair up it really helps to make my hair more obedient without having to have a hairspray helmet.

PuppyMonkey · 30/09/2012 15:43

Lee Stafford a million times better.

kiwigirl42 · 30/09/2012 17:53

I love it. I have fibromyalgia and sometimes it hurts too much to hold my arms up to wash my hair. Its a godsend.

Househunter · 30/09/2012 17:59

I exercise every day so wash my hair daily. I use dry shampoo to add volume to my very fine hair even when it's very clean. Couldn't be without it now.
