I want to buy Uggs but I don't know where to start

Can anyone advise me?

I have finally embraced skinny jeans this sumemr, and I am going to wear them into winter too. So I'd like to buy some Uggs.

My aim is to buy ones that stay looking smart - I don't want water stains, and I'd like them to stay looking clean.

Any recommendations as to the colour and material to get? I would like dark grey ones, as they go with everything. And any recommendations on whether to spray protector spray on them, and if so, which one? Or do they not need this?

And finally, is there anywhere that sells them cheapest?

these are the Kensingtons BTW

Another vote for Kensingtons, I've got them in toast. I bought them from a US shop ( The Walking Company) and had them sent over. Boots were £108 Shock then £30 postage and £40 tax Sad. Once the order was processed they were here within a week. I think Ugg have stopped making the Kensingtons this year as I couldn't find them anywhere in the UK.

I can tell you this now as I have just ordered mine Smile... Have a look at the ugg noira . They are like original but biker boot style. And...... Waterproof !!! Yay .. No more wet toes .. Pricey though but I'm worth it Wink

They are the new and apparently improved version of the kensingtons .

My Celtic Sheepskin ones have just been delivered. I am really, really impressed and don't think I will ever buy Uggs again TBH.

I bought these in brown. They are lovely and are much sturdier than Uggs, the sole is thicker, as is the sheepskin lining.

I fancy these biker boots too.

Celtic are a brilliant company! BUT I have to say I was not that keen on the long boots I had from there. They were nice, but not as amazing as my Kiwi Sheepskins Ultimate boots: I'm on my second pair now and would not buy sheepskin boots anywhere else. The first pair lasted three and a half years of constant use and rough treatment (including wading ankle-deep through a flood - I do not recommend it, but they did survive) and only gave up the ghost after my dp borrowed them without asking, cramming his big feet into my poor little boots.
Have had their replacements for two years now and they are going strong.

Agree with pp that emu is not as good quality as uggs, I bought 1 short from both brands this winter and the emus are looking very floppy indeed!

Also if you want to buy them cheaper depending on your foot size consider buying children's uggs - e.g a size 4 kids is a size 5 ladies and about £110 rather than £190odd

Don't know about Celtic sheepskin but when I looked at those briefly they were more expensive than uggs! My old uggs have lasted 5 years and still look good despite being worn in every weather so I went with uggs again

Folks, she bought them, like, nearly 3 years ago! Grin
