Here is the clicky link again for the Zoovillage website, it goes straight to all their Didriksons stock. It is a Swedish company that ships to the UK for free with UPS.
Longtalljosie and saythatagain, my Didriksons Taylor has very long sleeves. I am 5'10" and the sleeves cover my wrist entirely even when I lift my arms up. Similar to Tiddly's Rebecca, my Taylor has inside soft cuffs as well which come up to the middle of my palm. According to the info given on the zoovillage website, the length of the arms increases with the size of the coat.
This is a little measurement chart for the Taylor I copied form here (all measurements in cm):
Size Arm Chest
XXS/34: 58 96
XS/36: 59 100
S/38: 60 104
M/40: 61 108
L/42: 61 112
XL/44: 61 114
xxl/46: 62 124
Apparently, you can actually enter your measurements on the website and see what size would fit you, but I don't know how reliable that would be since I have not tried it. All I know is that their sizing is not very straightforward
.
Please be wary of my confirmation bias, but I am even more in love with my Taylor now. I did a spot of shopping in London after work and was wonderfully warm and dry despite a complete deluge. Most amazingly of all, I did not have to take it off on the tube! That has never happened to me before in any of my winter coats (unless it was snowing of course). The Northern Line was oppressively hot, but I did not break a sweat. Even my skiing gear cannot compare to that, but I guess it was also much cheaper than any of the Didriksons. Anyway, my commute finished late at night in pouring rain, which was so heavy that my shopping bag had a puddle of water in the bottom by the time I got home. I remained completely dry and toasty and the hood which I was complaining about earlier was actually amazing in keeping the water off my hair and face without restricting my vision.
I'll stop rambling now, here's to staying properly dry and warm this winter
