Reptilian skin-shedding legs

I had an allergic reaction on my legs a few weeks ago. It's all healed up fine, but my legs are peeling like a snake shedding its skin. Is there anything I can do about this? Can I make it look less revolting, or speed the process up somehow so I can get it over and done with?

Theoretically you could exfoliate, but I would be v cautious about irritating the area further by lifting up any cells before they are good and ready. Loads of moisturiser/body oil, and maybe a nice oily bath. Use something really gentle or a flannel if you really want to scrub a bit.

Yes, I wondered about that. There's no more soreness or redness, it feels normal from inside IYSWIM, but does that mean its fully healed?

I can't use most commercial exfoliating products, so what would be a gentle home-made one? I thought maybe sea-salt and avocado, or almond oil and sugar.

You could also use the famed coconut oil. I swear by it for skin and hair.

Don't do salt! Will possibly sting like buggery.

What about a body brush? And some nice natural moisturiser. Like the almond oil by itself?

Coconut oil - of course! I use it on my face, but it didn't occur to me to use it on my legs. Duh!

What's a body brush?

Just a brush which helps exfoliate. I live them as have very dry skin which is easily irritated. You can get them in all chemists/online at natural body care places. Can't link cos on phone.

O, Organic Bodycare Shop has some nice ones, quick google. Or just boots, I think Smile
