Good natural/organic day cream?

I suffer with endometriosis and environmental toxins/chemicals may aggravate it - I have made changes to my diet and I figure in for a penny in for a pound so am also trying to phase in natural household stuff and cosmetics. May be a load of bollocks, but worth a go I figure!

So, now in need of a nice daily moisturiser that is as natural as possible, and not too expensive! I have combination skin that's quite sensitive, especially to string perfume. I use ocm at night, but need something to add a bit of moisture after my shower in the morning before I put my make up on. I use bb cream so I don't think my moisturiser would need an SPF too?

Any recommendations, or even advice on making my own?

I find LE over priced tbh and not that great, I find TBS's aloe that I mentioned earlier far superior and a fraction of the price - although that was not reason I swapped over. LE bleats on about being natural etc etc - if you look at the ingredients there is actually quite a few nasties in there I believe. I am sure it's the essential oils that trigger my flaky skin because as soon as I stopped using LE it disappeared.

Plus it pissed me off when she sold out to Avon, although I do realise the irony of using TBS as it's now owned by L'Oreal Hmm Grin

I'm aware Liz Earle isn't totally 100% natural, but I still love it. The 'our philosophy' link I shared, tells customers only a little about their use of preservatives, but I thought I should include it anyway. I've been using it for 6+ years and have found nothing to compare - it somehow keeps my spots at bay as well as looking after my sensitive skin. (I use all 3 steps) I suppose our moushes all have different preferences though Smile

P.S. The avon sell-out bugged me too.

I've used it for years too and nothing compared to it up until the Aloe stuff. I just can't justify spending that much just to wash my face Grin

Thanks all! I also agree I have been largely put off the body shop since they sold to loreal. Last I heard their policies on animal testing weten't great.

Oh and btw, I have picked a load of rose hips out of the hedgerows near my house and am going to try my hand at making my own rose hip oil! Grin
