Having some very generous birthday money from my parents, I visited a local boutique. I havent bought clothes in ages and at my age (45 cough cough) I feel classics, that will last, and cover many events, are the way to go.

BUT BUT BUT
I fell in love with these in a dark blue colour, maybe a shade darker than the MN logo.

I loves them. I feel elegant and swishy in them.

So stylish S&B ladies who do this sort of thing all the time, how do I wear them? What top/shoes/boots/jumper?

I loathe how they are styled in the link above. I am 5'7'' verrrry hourglass shaped, enormous arse, size 14 bottom, 12 top. So I think semi or fully fitted on top (or is that too 90's?)

I can see how they could easily be dressed up for Christmas (can I say that word yet?) but for restaurant/pub night? Or could I get away with them for work?

Thank you in advance! mwah mwah dahlings

Ask the staff in the shop. I envy your ability to wear flowing stuff like this, I just look like I let the dressing up box get to me.

hah! thats ^exactly what I am afraid of.....I could look as if I got at the clown suit Grin

This is what the staff gave me to go with....which I can see for going to DDs Christmas ballet or equivalent but not for day-to-day.
AIBU? Smile

I would say definitely with a short/croppedish top because if you only have the legs showing then they'll prob look like Primarni velour trackies to the untrained eye.
