Hi
I would like to try Kerastase shampoos/conditioners after reading some good reviews on here, but, and I admit i feel stupid saying this, i can't work out which products are the conditioners! Apart from the crystalise one, none seem to have 'conditioner' in the name. I normally buy from HQ hair. Can anyone point me in the right direction and recommend a good one?

I buy Kerastase from Look Fantastic, it's cheaper. Or even this other website (I haven't bought from this one in the past though): www.terencepaulonline.com

I can't help you with the shampoo because I don't rate Kerastase shampoo or conditioner at all. It is really heavy for my hair and leaves it looking either flat and lifeless or greasy. Some people love it though.

I prefer L'oreal Series Expert or Aveda.

However, I second Look Fantastic - I buy all my hair products from them, they are a lot cheaper and also really good service.

Thank you I will look on that website ...but can anyone help me find which products are conditioners? Im sorry it seems a stupid question but the text on them is all in french!

Yes no probs, what type of hair do you have/which shampoo are you getting and il get links to the conditioners for you!

SoldeInvierno · 11/09/2012 21:19

this one

SoldeInvierno · 11/09/2012 21:24

I use the one for curly hair (Oleo Curl) and use a mask instead of conditioner. Work well for me. here

suburbandweller · 11/09/2012 21:35

Anything with "Bain" in it is a shampoo. Conditioners are generally the ones in the bottles which look like a bit like the shampoo but upside down. The masques are intensive conditioners so not generally suitable for everyday use.

goldygumdrops · 12/09/2012 07:10

Thats great thank you everyone, i have curly long hair so need conditioners that detangle and add shine. Will go and have a look at the oleo curl mentioned by Solde. Thank you.

Their products have nano particles in them .... that should be nono. Thses teeny tiny bits of chemical have unknown consequences ,steer clear its not worth the risk .

bigredbook · 12/09/2012 09:52

expectmiracles do you know where can I read something intelligible but accurate about the nanoparticles thing (not just in kerastase)? Never thought about this before...

Suntime · 12/09/2012 09:53

That's interesting expectmiracles I had a terrible allergic reaction to kerastese about 10 years ago and my skin has never been the same since.

expectmiracles · 12/09/2012 11:31

BIgredbook Copy and paste this web site address for a bit more info. Nano particles are used in lots of beauty products.

goldygumdrops · 12/09/2012 16:51

Oh. Can anyone recommend an alternative then to make my thick hair shiny and untangled?

Aveda is wonderful
Cheaper in LookFantastic too

Lovewearingjeans · 12/09/2012 18:38

My sister and I have totally different hair types, mine flat and straight, hers thick and wavy, and Keratase didn't suit either of us.

goldygumdrops · 13/09/2012 19:27

In the end I ordered a few Redken ones to try but just wanted to say thank you for the link to the lookfantasic site - worked out a lot cheaper than my usual site!
