Breastfeeding dresses/breastfeeding in dresses!

I have had the same style for a few years that works well for me - it's not complicated, basically it can be summed up in one word: dresses. However, I am now breastfeeding DC2 and find dresses impractical for this. BUT they are basically all I own. With DC1 I just had to wear some supermarket jeans and plain T shirts for about a year as I knew there was no point splashing out when I'd be back to dresses afterwards...

So, please can anyone recommend nice breastfeeding dresses and/or tell me how breastfeeding in wrap/loose dresses is possible? I think I am being a bit dense but I can never work out how to be decent - does your boob come over the top? I am v. big chested if that makes any difference?!

TIA for any tips :)

Blush Sorry for weird extra gap in title. Was typing one handed with baby on other arm...

A lot of H&M dresses are good for this. I live in dresses (due to PCOS) and have a few different styles from them.

I have a shirt dress with buttons all the way up the front, which works. All my other dresses are hibernating Sad

You have to hoik your boob out of the top - I wear scarves to cover the top of my norks for a bit of modesty. I wear either v-neck dresses with enough give to get boobs out, or Henley-style button necks.

Or you could chuck a muslin over your shoulder to cover the exposed bit, too

I nearly always have my baby in a woven wrap, so use that to drape over my shoulder / baby / boob and then just hoik boob out of the top of the dress (wrap dresses / v necklines / slight stretchy fabric / undo halterneck etc). If I didn't have the wrap i'd take a big scarf out with me.

You coud use nursing apron/cover thing like this. Nursing dresses tend to have an under layer with vertical slits for poking your boob through. Jojo maman sell them and are suitable for big boobs, or Frugi. You'd get a lot more choice by using your own tho, as long as the neckline is stretchy enough.
