Dyeing eyebrows...

You know how dyeing eyebrows is good for making them seem more plentiful... How do you do it without dyeing the skin underneath? Local salon always seems to dye my eyelids when they are dyeing my eyelashes so I'm not hugely confident in their abilities...

I do mine at home myself.
Actually you have reminded me I need to do it, so thank you Smile

I use a kit called 1000 hours (I think)

It's for eyelashes and brows.
Really simple to use.

Mix the creme to the developing solution, apply, wipe off.
Job done.

eyebrows are really easy. i use dylash. mix it up as per instructions, apply with the wand, gently over your brows, leave on for a couple of minutes, then wipe off with a cotton wool pad. repeat if required to build up the colour. the dye is never in contact with the skin long enough to mark it, and for brows, it's better to build the colour up gradually rather than apply and leave on for longer first off.

Second this.

If I can manage it, it's pretty idiot proof!

I use the Dylash as well, it's pretty good. Seven or eight quid for a box with about ten applications, versus a tenner a go for having it done in a salon. You leave it on for four to five minutes then whip it off with some make up remover. At that time it shouldn't stain the skin, but you can "outline" your brows with Vaseline if you're overly worried about looking like Groucho Marx for a day or so.
