I've read the thread on extraordinary oil and it sounds fab- I have had good results with organix morroccan oil, but I think the silicones give be spots where it gets on my back ( I have to be v careful to rinse conditioner off my skin).

Does anyone know if any are silicone free?

You could just use actual oil like argan on your hair, that way you only get oil and no additives. I recently went into an Asian/Middle Eastern grocery, looking for argan oil and they had loads of hair oils in there, which, I think were just oil.
I have been using argan oil for about 6 months on wet hair and it works like serum, keeps it from frizzing and makes it look shiny, with no build-up or itchiness.

I've been using 'parachute' scented coconut oil on my hair since i went to india about 15 years ago, it's great, smells like jasmine, lasts for ages, you only need a few drops depending how long your hair is, and totally controls my super frizzy curly hair. Find it as above in asian supermarkets or I think you might be able to get it online- I have a friend who vis

Is this it poorfoxy? Doesn't mention stickiness or otherwise...

I've just started using argan oil too. It's really nice and light. You can use it for skin too.

nope, it's not that one, although that one is ok, it goes a bit sludgey when it's cold.

this is the one i use, in fact i've just had a bath, washed my hair and slathered a little of it in, smells so nice!!

although the directions say to put 1 to 2 teaspoons in, leave an hour then shampoo out, I just put about six or 8 drops on my hands and rub through my wet hair after I've washed it.

Thanks I will see what I can get near me! Have read another thread and put coconut oil on my hair last night to wash out this morning. Looks a bit manky at the moment!
