Hair style help

I have not had my hair cut since dd2 was born, she is now 2.5! This has mainly been due to worries about money and other issues that have come up and stopped me thinking that my hair is a priority.

I have an appointment booked to have my hair cut and styled next week, as part of a 'whole new me' project I am trying (one step at a time, hair first, lose weight, more stylish clothes)

So I need help with what style I should go for. It needs to be low maintenance, at the minute I just wash it, brush it and go out, no products, no time to straighten it, etc. Any ideas? It's fairly long atm too.

Without knowing your fce shape and stuff and how you dress and what time you ike to spend on your hair it would be difficult to suggest styles other than random 'Ooh, I like this haircut' suggestions.

If your hair is long atm how much change are you willing to take place?

You prob need to think about and discuss with your hairdresser your hair type, do you want a no fuss style you can get away with doing nothing with or you are hapy to put 5 min or so each day towards doing it.

Personally I love this haircut thebestfashionblog.com/haircuts-hairstyles/short-bob-haircuts-2011-2012-pictures because you can do nithing and just tuck it behind your ears on lazy days bu then actually do the style properly fopr going out.

Much I usually hate to waste money on such things, it might be best to stand ina large suopermarker magazine section (then you don't feel as guilty about not buying magazines and just reading thm!) and look through the hair magazines to get some inspiration Smile

Thanks for you reply. I almost thought I was talking to myself.

I have a fairly round face, I wear jeans and t shirt mostly when not at work, but for work I look vaguely professional with smart trousers and nice top.

I really do want something VERY easy to look after, I don't wear make-up and am rather lazy when it comes to doing my hair. I currently don't even bother to blow dry it, just let it dry naturally, so I definitely wouldn't bother straightening it or anything.

Go on Taaz and play with hair styles.

I have mine in a very short pixe crop, you can't really be any more easy going! Where abouts are you based? I cokld recommend my hairdressers if you were having a wobble bu they are in Leeds.

I'm in Cumbria so Leeds is a bit far Grin but thanks. I don't know that I am quite ready for a pixie crop as my hair is currently half way down my back and my mum has v short hair and I don't want to look any more like her. I think I do like the short bobs you linked to earlier, and I will go onto Tazz as I'd never even heard of it before.
