Spray suncreams for burns, then tans skin?

Can anyone recommend a suncream that goes on easily and gives good protection for a skin that generally burns, then tans. If I go too high a factor, I don't get colour and too low, I burn. I just need to find the right SPF in-between (I think!). I usually use Piz Buin 30 and then drop to 15. Any views much appreciated.

I use UltraSun 28.

Then drop down to UltraSun 20.

I use Boots Soltan, the clear stuff. I ahve found over the years though that the higher factors don't stop me getting a colour, it just takes longer. But it lasts longer too as you've done it gently. Burnt skin peels more quickly and apart from the obvious risks it doesn't look nice!

Thanks guys. Tell me more about Ultrasun if you would. Is that the cream you apply every 6 hours or so?

Really really recommend Riemann P20. It's more expensive but one application lasts all day so a £20 bottle will last 2 weeks. I used it recently in a situation where i was working outdoors all day in 30 degree plus heat, no shade, and didn't burn a bit. Only downside is it only comes in factor 20, but I built a good tan using it.

Like you I will burn if not protected but then tan well.

I stand corrected - it also comes in factor 10. On sale on Amazon at the mo for £13 too.

Soltan Once. The "invisible" spray is good.

Ultrasun is a once a day one. It comes in a liquid that you rub in, mousse or a spray.

It truly is a once a day sun cream in that you don't after to reapply after swimming or towel drying or after 6 hours like some of the other so called once a day sun creams.
