BB Cream recommendations

I like the idea of BB cream; all-in-one and good for skin. Can anyone recommend a particular brand as they all seem to have one at the moment? I have the no7 one but I dont think it's great for my skin as I get spots.

Not sure I would trust it abroad though!! It was fine in this country Grin

Look for the threads on the korean ones... I love the one I bought, very much. I also bought a cleanser which is fab too.

The garnier one is horribly orange and nasty.

I just use a moisturiser with spf and mix a bit of foundation with it.

I think it's just a gimmick.

I really rate the Estee Lauder BB cream. I don't do foundation but this is as easy as a tinted moisuriser but hides a multitude if sins. It looks quite thick when you put it on but it sinks in to look really natural. I tried the Garnier one but found it a bit gloopy and sticky.

I've been using the Garnier one since June, about twice a week. I use the fair one, but it is still a bit too dark for my pale skin, which was ok during the summer since I had a bit of a colour, but now it's just too dark. I do like the coverage, it evens out the skin, but I need to use a powder, since it's too greasy and makes the face shiny. Around August I started to develop spots on my chin, which is very weird, since I haven't really had acne since my teens, so I suppose it must be the BB cream. I'll stop using it and go back to my Revlon PhotoReady foundation (which I love, btw), see if the spots go away. 7 out of 10? But I must say, I do like it, even if it is a bit too shiny and greasy without powder. Watch those spots, though!

The Garnier BB cream for oily/combination cream is completely different to the one for normal/dry skin. It's SO much better. Not orange at all, and the consistancy isn't greasy. It's really great compared to the other one. If you hated the original Garnier BB cream, don't be put off trying the new one. It's an entirely different product, and really good for the price.

I have the make up academy (MUA) from super drug, think it was £4/£3 when I brought it! Is thick to put on BUT feels lovely ad light once on hence me using less! I use the light one and looks lovely - everyone keeps telling how well I look for having a 9week old!

I like the Body Shop one and also use the Estée Lauder one when funds allow!

naturalbaby · 19/11/2012 20:53

where do you get samples from?

My garnier cream has nearly run out and I was wondering whether to return to pressed powder or tinted moisturiser.

MadameCastafiore · 19/11/2012 20:56

I bought a Garnier one, was crap, made me look like a wax work! Not sure if they all do as only one I tried and it put me off trying any others.
