as they dont seem to cover my greys at all!!! (Ive got a few greys).

the non perm (which i use when i was pg) covered better than perm.

the first was nice n easy dye and second was perfect 10 (i was told on here that perfect 10 covers greys better but it was worse).b i did a strand test on both and did a full time.

do i have to try them all or am i doomed but to fork out at the hairdressers every 6 weeks that i cannot afford.

thanks

try l'oreal excellence creme. i've never got on with nice and easy, and perfect 10 was awful.

thanks...ill try that next and ill report back to see if it worked well

I find that even the permanent dyes seem to wash out/fade after a few weeks. It's not realistic to re dye every 6 weeks, so am also at a loss as to what to do.
Are salon dyes better quality and therefore likely to last longer?

At the moment I only have a few silver hairs will not use the word grey, but have no intention of going grey gracefully, so this is going to be a long term issue. If you find one that works, please update.

Ive not found any permanent dyes which ever cover the grey at the front. Ive dark brown hair naturally and they really show up.

The only thing which does cover mine is a pain in the arse - Lush henna bars, in brown, rather than red. Caca Brun is a brown, with not much hint of red. Its messy, time consuming, and fiddly, but it left me with no stand out greys.

Oh, if you do use the Lush henna, grate it rather than cut it up, as it dissolves better, mix it till it gets to a thick cream consistency - not too thick, but if its too thin, it will run onto skin and will not come out....
