did you ever get your hair back?

I've never had a lot of hair but it used to have a good shape. Waves and curls at the right places.
Now ever since I stopped breastfeeding DS2 in October last year when he turned one, it's been limp and flat and I can make nothing of it even with a blow dry.
It's probably hormonal, lack of sleep etc... but I'd like someone to tell me that one day I'll have my hair back.

Anybody had with this problem?

Absolutely! It will return to normal. I started with getting lots of re growth around my hair line that wasn't a good look but once it grew put it was fine. I

It will recover. I had dd2 a year ago and regrowth is nearly normal fringe length. Mine falls out at temples and front which made me look like Elizabeth I and was wispy and crap. I got a bob which I am now growing out as hair recovers. Are you taking a multivitamin? There are some good recommendations if you do a search. Low iron and or thyroid can knacker your hair too so if no change in a few weeks maybe see gp.

But it will come back eventually.

My youngest is 3 and my hair hasn't recovered. It thinned out at the front and accross the top loads. My bloods are fine though and I am getting a full nights sleep every night. I do find motherhood stressfull though and am currently getting a divorce. So can't see my hair recovering for a while.

Had dc 5 yr ago, my hair was fine anyway but now ultra fine and refuses any attempt at building body. In the end just thought Bolocks to it and got it all chopped off Grin

My entire fringe fell out, it was so embarrassing I wore a hat for a few wmonths! Luckily it was winter...... I got it cut into a bob as I was so sick of seeing loads of it coming out on the brush.....however itdid grow back with the help of oil massage to scalp, multivitamin and iron tablets! Don't worry, this too shall pass!

My hair has always been very fine & thin, which you can, at certain angles, actually see the scalp through. It has always been very curly. It remained the same after DS (born 20 yrs ago), and DD1 (born two years ago).

Since DD2 was born sleeping last year, my hair has been a bit (very slightly) thicker, and is now straight! I mean dead straight! I'd had very curly hair for nearly 42 years, then it went straight!

I do wonder if it's because I lost so much blood, and had to have blood transfusions (I had big vertical lumps in my fingernails too).

My hair began thinning after some medication I began taking. Coupled with that & the hair colouring, my once super - thick hair was now very thin/ breaking. I started to use Dove Pro-Age shampoo (in burgundy bottles) & I think it's helped my hair a lot. Initally I thought the pro-age range was for 'older' people, but if it works, it works!!!! & I'm not a sping chicken anyway!
