I would totally trust her recommendation - I've bought everything else she suggests.
But I think it's sold out at the mo.

Really, thats good to know. It sounds great, doesn't it.

Is that lab that makes it -Indeed lab- that makes that Nanoblur crap? I linked your link cahu, and her review is a rave review. The only thing that makes me suspect of it is that these people sell that Nanoblur shite. Does what it says on the box? Hmmm.

cahu · 09/08/2012 23:34

hmmm, reading her other reviews, I thought she may be someone to listen to....because I just can not afford to buy more pointless products... maybe botox beckons!

I haven't read her other reviews, Internet here is cripplingly slow. But I agree, I am thoroughly fed up spending money on pixie dust. I haven't spent too much in the last while, thankfully, but every so often I still fall for the marketing nonsense. And my last fall was that Nanoblur utter shite stuff. I still can't believe I fell for it. Read some more I'd say. Haven't succumbed to Botox yet. Prob better value than pixie dust tho.

MissFoodie · 09/08/2012 23:47

I'm amazed at anyone who buys Nanoblur, or any of those primers....they're all basically silicone............? does nobody read ingredients lists???? why would you want to slather your face in it?????
At the same time, good on those advertising agencies.....!

cahu · 10/08/2012 00:30

Lurking, never thought of it like that before, in terms of better value. I might start thinking of it like that and take the plunge instead of being duped by the cosmetic companies.

yes, buy what you can afford, good quality - no cream will make you look younger unfortunately!

Fourfingerkitkat · 10/08/2012 19:03

Don't know about this face cream or Nanoblur but as far as primers go I would thoroughly recommend Philosophy The Present. It's sold as a clear makeup to stop shine and blur imperfections or as a primer. I got some for my birthday and have been using it for a week...the stuff is bloody amazing. My makeup does not budge. £22 for a 60ml tube and if you get if from QVC or John Lewis you can return if you don't like it. Get a sample from John Lewis first. I can't fault it.

spanishring · 13/08/2012 13:01

Nano blur is a bit of an odd one but essentially it does what it says sort of: blur lines because of the refracting light particles. But you can't wear over makeup and it's only a slight difference so more gimmicky than anything else

The hyauralonic acid one is just that - hyerlaunic acid which if you read what beauty mouth says is just really good at moisturising. Or aiding moisturisation.
I'm sorry about spelling I'm on iPhone. It's shockingly bad but you know what I mean.

Caroline Hirons is v knowledgeable.

It's not really got much crap in it and it's a reasonable price I think.

coffeeinbed · 13/08/2012 13:24

This is completely different from Nanoblur though.
It seems to be hyaluronic acid which is an effective moisturiser.
I would buy it after I finish the Clinique Moisture on call sample I have been using.
Same thing.
