Sort of strange (possibly very naff) dress thing

I saw this in a magazine while out today - memorized the website, but have now forgotten in completely and the name of the product.

So - it is a kind of wrap round thing, with hole for your arms, a sort of beach dress. It is apparently advertised on TV (Hmm - makes me suspect it is naff), also the fact that it was advertised on the back pages of Woman's Own Grin - it was a very small advert so I couldn't really see it properly.

It might be beyond disgusting, or it might be a hidden gem, either way does anyone have a clue as to what I'm going on about. The name might have been something like swari or swaresse - but googling those throws up nothing.

There is a prize of a back issue of Woman's Own for any one who can come up with the answer Grin

Actually headfairy - I think I am turning into 'social woman' - I seem to be wearing brighter nail varnish, and blingier jewellery as I get older (how many OTT rings can I get on my wrinkled old hands??) - is this an old woman phenomenon?

The very fact that the magic dress caught my eye is slightly scary.

Uber thick foundation and thick black 'dead crow on the road' mascara here I come.

Don't forget your clicky-clacky slingbacks Kurri

Sorry to put a dampner on your lovely thread, but I tried one on whilst on my honeymoon in Hawaii about 3 stone ago, thanks DS! and even at my slimmest, it wasn't great. Perhaps try before you buy. It just didn't feel right or very secure...

Oh yes - sling backs, - gold I think.

Suzy - you've shattered my dreams Grin - slim is not a word I would use to describe myself (fat is the word I'd use), but I think social woman probably doesn't care that she is a little too plump for certain outfits, and just wears them anyway.

Hassled I usually hear you before I see you and then I smell the overpowering whiff of too much perfume :o

I have also looked longingly at the Saress...The thing that put me off rather, if you look at it vair closely, is the extra fabric that is from the waist upwards, and presumably is meant to drape. I would worry it would just make me look fatter more voluptuous.
