Have just found myself bargain work trews in the M and S school uniform department. Aged 11 years. £6.50! And they fit like a dream (think the adjustable waist helps Wink).

I am 5ft nothing and a size 6ish and bored to tears with never being able to find any fit-me-straight-off-the-peg clothes.

Why have I only just thought of doing this??!!
Clearly there will be certain gaps in the wardrobe that cannot be filled in the kids section but perhaps a decent teen range could be the answer. Is there one?

What other paediatric finds (bargains) am I missing?

I've recently lost a few stone and as I'm not particularly tall I've found I can fit into kids' clothes again - hooray! I have ordered a few bits from the teen section of the Next Directory (plain t-shirts etc) because it's convenient but have had to be careful that I don't forget and buy the corresponding smaller versions for my DD or we'll end up looking like Danny de Vito and Arnie in Twins :)
