Jada Pinkett Smith wins it hands down for me. Every year she gets its right.

Queen Latifah shows how a woman of size can dress elegantly and with style.

There's a lot of that 'champagne' colour about, washes most of them out.... and a lot of black, not loving any of them really!

Anyone see Helena Bonham Carter's dress? I've not seen it, but read it was one of the red carpet disasters....

philip seymour hoffman is a deeply unatttractive man....

I've seen her look worse - mind you that's not saying much!

Hmmm - HBC, doesn't look bad in that photo, and IMO, her dress is an appealing colour. The report I read specifically commented on her white, chunky shoes being particularly awful - but they don't show in that pic.

I'm delighted to note that Jennifer Lopez looks f*cking horrible. That acid phlegm colour makes her look as mean and pinched and witchy as her personality.

Loved Reese Witherspoon's dress, and I thought Rachel Weisz looked fine considering how pregnant she is. But I didn't like Charlize Theron's dress, or Felicity Huffman's. But the worst for me was Nicole Kidman. She is so thin now that she looks quite grotesque. Such a shame. Looking forward to the highlights on TV tonight! And I agree that Philip Seymour Hoffman is not an attractive man. But at least his real voice is nice. I'm not sure I could stomach a whole film of that lisping, high pitched whine he has in Capote (although I know it's supposed to be a pretty good take off of Truman!)

Thought Uma Thurman (or however you spell it) looked very elegant with a beautiful dress, and classic hair. But, she was yet another woman in the long line of beige/nude dresses.

Thought Jennifer Anniston's black dress did her complexion/skin tone no favours. She should find out from Cod where to get her colours done!

Thanks georg for that photo. Well, the shoes definitely don't add anything to the overall look, but don't know if I'd single them out as being especially awful...
