Hair at that annoying long bob stage, what to do with it?

Going out with the ladies tonight for the first time in a long time but I'm having a hair nightmare!

It's just resting on shoulder length. If I bob it with a round brush I end up with the out flick. I can't seem to straighten it without getting stick out ends. Contemplating tongs to give it a wave but that always drops after a while.

I really need some help. It's naturally wavy and relatively thick

Spray your round brush with hairspray then style - it helps keep it.

Mine does the same out-flick thing when it's humid, it drives me crackers. Solution: blow dry with very big diamater round brush, tucking ends under, then afterwards, quickly run a straightener over the stubborn bits from the earlobe downward. Knocks out the sticky out bits and smooths over all but doesn't give that overflat look. I use a very cheap mini straightener (£14 from Tesco, totally brilliantt). Good luck!

I'm off to try now, dying it first. Fingers crossed it doesn't fall out/ go green GrinGrinGrin

Babyliss abig Hair is what you need. Lovely sleek locks.
Might be a bit late notice for tonight though ....

Babyliss Big Hair that should be.

Oh I have the same hair and the same trouble. Only answer I found was a girl at trevor sorbie gave me clever layers and took some weight out (which apparently are two different things) and now I can just wash it and go Grin

It worked well, big brush a bit of hairspray (hate the stuff, it wrecks your hair) no straighteners needed just hot hot air to set. No out flicks till this mornings bed head hitGrin
