A tricky one <sigh>. I need an outfit for a themed wedding, and I will be 7 months pregnant

Help! I'm supposed to be going to a wedding in about 2 months, and I've only just been told that all the guests are supposed to be wearing Hawaiian-style outfits, with a retro twist if possible Confused Hmm No exceptions for pregnant women apparently. What the actual jeff am I going to wear?!

This is my second pregnancy and I was really hoping to get away with not buying any more maternity clothes, so the cheaper the better. The weather is likely to be good as it's on the West Coast of America, near the coast. I'm a size 10, about 5'5 and fair skinned/haired, small frame and 'all-bump' so can't get away with non-maternity clothes.

I really don't want to look like a twat in mad floral print, as it doesn't really suit me, but I suppose one day won't hurt. I found this from Crave, but 1) it's not very hawaiian or retro and 2) well, I don't like it very much and it's expensive! If I could find something in the Isabella Oliver sale I wouldn't really mind as I could wear it again this (and maybe next, fx!) pregnancy, but it's really annoying me that I have to shell out for something I will never wear again.

Please help me, Style & Beauty gurus. What do you suggest?

Thanks tartiflette and Fresh. I think, on reflection, that DH's choice is probably the best option, although more than I was hoping to spend! I still like the Urban v much too, and think I may get more wear out of it as it would work for smart daywear too. So that's where I am... Dilemma!

Fresh, to be fair I think the information about the dress code has been knocking around a bit longer than 2 months - DH isn't great at passing on vital info, and he's the friend of the couple, not me. Luckily the invite was quite explicit, and I've friended the bride on FB now in case of more surprises!

I like your choice (the urban one) your DH's choice is lovely too but you'll need a strapless bra which isn't great with big pregnant boobies.

I think all the Isabella Oliver ones are gorgeous TBH, any of them in a bright colour with hawaiian accessories will be fine.

Ooh, yes hadn't thought of the boobs! There will have to be pregnancy spans in the mix too, I think. It all adds up, doesn't it? Sad

Sorry to butt in. Do you live in America?

If you are flying, you may need a doctor's letter to get on the plane! I did when flying to Las Vegas to get married. Blush

No, we're in the UK. Doctor has advised that there should be absolutely no problem supplying letter but he wants to wait till nearer the time before providing it. Airline are happy as long as I have the letter.

Thanks!

Grin DH has just been told by another groomsman that his hired suit will consist of suit jacket, tie, shirt and ... formal shorts! GrinGrinGrin

I feel so much better now! Suddenly a nice dress and some garish accessories doesn't seem so bad! Excuse me while I go and PMSL Grin
