Cheap and cheerful or a waste of money? I was looking at some the other day and thinking of getting them, they feel all right in the packet but what are they like to wear/how long do they last?

The wooly ones go bobbly after one wash, the nylons were ok but not amazing.

noisytoys · 07/07/2012 15:49

I've never had a problem with them and I've been wearing them for at least a decade

PinkPepper · 07/07/2012 15:51

I like whatever ones are supposed to be climate control and also the shape ones. I've had more expensive tights and they've all ripped the same (not very good at been ladylike and snag them I think) so they do great for me.

SilkandSteel · 07/07/2012 15:55

I find their opaques to be better and longer lasting than some of the other more expensive ones. Just recently bought their fishnet type ones as well and they are great.

MrsRhettButler · 07/07/2012 15:57

They simply don't fit me, they're tiny.

Either that or I'm massive Grin

I was looking at some in black boxes I think they said something about aloe vera on them and seemed very soft are they any good? I think they where £3.

Yy to their opaques for winter (or maybe August if this weather continues). Have never tried any of their other tights

KatieMon · 28/10/2012 18:19

Do their opaque tights have a gusset? Their packaging doesn't mention it. I usually avoid tights without a gusset, but maybe I should make an exception?

CaptainKirksNipples · 28/10/2012 18:21

Never bought the tights but have bought the pop socks (worn under trousers as part of work uniform) and they are just the same as more expensive ones

nbee84 · 28/10/2012 18:32

Their fleece lined opaque tights are fantastic - so warm and they last well. I'm still wearing the ones I bought last year. Agree that the sizes are not generous. I'm a 14/16 and the L/XL (they come in S/M or L/XL) are just about right on me.

MikeLitorisBites · 28/10/2012 18:37

I have to disagree on the sizing. Im a size 10-12 and buy the girls aged 13 opaques.

£3 for two pairs. Fit perfectly.

NicolaDeAuvernge · 24/02/2019 18:38

Picked up a five pack of their black 10 dnr in a charity shop the other day for two quid, retail three. Not bad, sheerer than I thought they'd be. Not M&S and the first pair has laddered quickly, but what I've paid. Toodle, Nicola

gubbsywubbsy · 24/02/2019 18:52

I love their tights , only ones I buy . The shaping ones are fab and really hold you in and smooth things down . I wash and tumble them and they last ages . I imagine if you hand wash and drip dry they would last forever !

TeamDixon · 24/02/2019 19:57

I like their 100 denier opaques and also bought one pair of their luxury oiled ' natural tan' they were brilliant! I need to get more!

DorothyZbornak · 24/02/2019 20:01

The single packs are good. Don't bother with the multipacks. They fall down (on me anyway), don't wash well and go bobbly very fast.

Sophiemtb · 24/02/2019 21:45

I really like them too, especially the thicker ones. And yes katie Mon, they do have a gusset.

MrsFionaCharming · 24/02/2019 21:53

I’ve found they’re not long enough in the body and come up to well under my hips, meaning they roll down every time I bend over.

frugalkitty · 24/02/2019 22:02

I buy the 40 denier ones for my DD for school, £3 for three pairs and they wash and wear well. Better than the M&S ones I used to get for her now I think about it.
