New packaging of Boots' Perfect and Protect serum

Is anyone else irritated by the new packaging of this product? It used to come in a simple tube; now it's in a heavy glass bottle with a dispenser device. Not only is it much more environmentally wasteful, but it's impossible to get the last bit out of the bottle. Why have they done it?

To compete with higher end products? Maybe they will offer a refill?

Can I just say that the Boots Time Delay range is exactly the same as the Protect and Perfect range only cheaper.

If you look at the product ingredient details you can see,

compare the time delay here

to the expensive protect and perfect on here

They sell it in 2 different containers - the glass one and the plastic tube. Maybe they had run out of the plastic tubes in your Boots. I always get the tube but my friend always gets the glass one.

Thanks - that's v helpful. I'm off to look for the Time Delay... (though it's got its work cut out for it at this point)

It has always come in glass bottles!

YY, very hard to get the last bit out (I use a metal skewer as a "scoop").

Are they really the same? Does the protect & perfect have a higher strength to it? Had just decided to buy myself some protect & perfect tomorrow!Smile

I also use these items, In my opinion the most important is a serum which is used for anti aging. I think the packaging of serum should be in plastics because it help to avoid scattering of serum.

They keep changing their minds on the packaging don't they? Plastic, then glass (which was a bugger to empty) (and not so practical for taking on holiday) and then plastic and now you tell me back to glass. Grrrr.
