Mascara that wont make my eyes water

Hi all,

Am fairly new to make-up wearing despite being in my late 30's. I don't have sensitive skin/eyes and don't wear lenses but am finding that mascara really makes my eyes water. It's fine some days but if am outside in the wind or something it seems to start them watering and then they wont stop. The mascara's only 1-2 months old so I didn't think it could be that, could it? Currently using Max Factor so any other suggestions appreciated. Thanks!

Clinique is good. I have the same problem with Max Factor etc but bought a Clinique mascara a couple of weeks ago and don't get the watering eyes thing any longer.

Absolutely agree with Clinique, it's the only one. Try their waterproof ones as they are great if your eyes water due to hay fever or wind

the body shop one is great for me.

I love Soap & Glorys mascara - doesn't irritate my eyes and leaves my lashes looking fab !! x

I'm a bit of a broken record, but I really rate La Roche Posay for sensitive anything. Using their waterproof mascara currently, v v comfortable.

Oh! A few options. I had a free make up trial ages ago at Clinique and the mascara she used made my lashes really clumpy but that may just have been her technique! Haven't even heard of La Roche Posay - will google it now.. Body shop is somewhere I always forget so I'll pop in and have a nosey. I love the soap and glory toiletries so that sounds a good option too. I fear this may be expensive Blush

Another possibility is having your eyelashes dyed.
