I fibnd the clothes to be excellent quality and last well. Sale bargains even more so. Moreover, the styles are usually classic / basic and so don't really 'date'.

MrsSeanBean · 29/06/2012 13:10

BTW, the pebble tunic I love and am also planning to order. The linen tunic is also nice. Both could be layered in cooler weather.
The first of your links didn't work for me.

The trouble is with the White Company is that I want to kill myself when I look at the models. There is no way I am going to look like they do in the clothes. They are in a haze of honey hues... honey hair, honey long lean arms and legs, and even honey-coloured children.

ComradeJing · 29/06/2012 15:01

Everything I've bought so far has been good quality and lasted well. Their cashmere has actually lasted better than a couple of my brora pieces.

Great basics, I'm a fan.

Eliza22 · 29/06/2012 16:06

Good point Gramercy but..... THEY probably don't look like that naturally, either! Don't hurl yourself off of a tall building, they've probably been digitally enhanced.

Some years ago, I had a newspaper photographer do some photos of me. She was a friend of my mum and they were amazing. I looked fabulous. I remember her taking ages with the light monitor thing and had big sheets of tin foil looking reflectors filling my "space" with light.

Op, I love the tunic but can't comment on the quality as I've never ordered from them. I do browse from time to time and covet the knit wear and soft jersey dresses.

At that price.....try it!

DS has some Little White Company pyjamas that had been through DC before coming to us. He's been wearing them year and they still look as good a new.

UML · 29/06/2012 16:42

I always want to buy some of their clothes, but I always hesitate as so much of my loungewear clothing is dull, greys etc, and I really want to wear more hush-type colours like pale pinks and greens....

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 29/06/2012 20:26

I really rate them. The quality of the jersey dresses is good and they are v easy to wear and wash.

anniewoo · 29/06/2012 20:49

Love The White Company. Their dresses are lovely , their basic white t shirt though expensive, is great too. Love, love , love their shops. Wish there was one in Ireland (sigh). Their bedlinen is bloody hard to iron though! Grin

I'd forgotten taht I used to by their js for the kids when they were little and they did last brilliantly.. and still have a single duvet!
thats me decided then

You can tell that the person choosing the colours is a Clear (or winter under the old system for colour me beautiful). Most of the colours are my neutrals on my colour palate.

Ameliagrey · 30/06/2012 08:46

Not really Comrade- the company used to sell nothing but white items- now they have branched out and added black, grey and navy. It's a tiny deviation from their original market.

Jakadaal · 30/06/2012 15:01

I love the White Co and consider them investment pieces in that they don't date and I can roll them out year after year. Have only had to return 1 item when the welt became mishapen after washing and they refunded immediately
