Great Plains dress in sale for £13

I have just ordered this dress for £13! I'm really pleased because I wanted it when it first came out, but it sold out quickly.

I've just had my money refunded. No horses shagging dress for me and indeed, no further purchases from Great Plains or French Connection.

I like it (despite the horses looking as if they're in flagrante delicto ) but it is £38 now and only in a small, which is too big for me. Will look at the rest of the sale though.

It may be worth checking colours on websites of other people selling Great Plains before you order. I ordered this tunic which is actually much brighter colours in real life. Silly me - I thought the colours on the GP website would be more true to life than other sellers! . So disappointed as I'd been wanting that top ever since the catalogue came out

Spent 84 quid on 4 items. Oops. One was the navy lace skirt that I had resisted buying at full price though.

- think you're a bit late for that - I assumed it was a dress perfect for shagging in, as the full skirt gave easy access!

Apparently in the twenties (I think!) That Sort Of Thing was rife - girls would wear full-skirted dresses and then, er, sit on their boyfriends' laps in clubs while they watched Josephine Baker do her banana leaf dance* and to the casual observer they were just cuddling. (And presumably jiggling a bit? I'm no expert, but surely you'd need to actually move?!)

I am VERY limited re: what I can wear on my feet but these do look quite nice with the horse print dress.

How knee-length is the horse shaggy dress? I like it, but I want knee length, not over the knee. I'm 5'6 and I don't understand that centre back measurement thing they do.
