Breastfeeding-friendly outfit for a christening

Help! I need an outfit for my best friend's baby's christening in about 3 weeks time. I had my DS on 23rd May and am breastfeeding, might consider expressing and taking bottles but not sure I'll have that sorted by then. I've not braved public feeding yet but as we'll be there all day I'm going to have to! The venue for the after 'do' is a tiny pub so no separate room for feeding, so need an outfit that will enable me to feed discreetly but still want to look nice! Have looked at a couple of wrap dresses but not sure if they'll be discreet enough. Maybe a loose top and some nice trousers? I'm 5ft2, a top heavy size 12/14 and don't have a vast amount to spend! Any ideas stylish ladies?!

Oh ps I know it's a christening so I shouldn't be worried about breastfeeding in public, but just feel a bit conspicuous amongst friends for some silly reason!

Go for smart separates, with a stretchy cami underneath and a nice floaty wrap/scarf. Don't pressurise yourself into bottles/expressing.

Yes I suppose if I go for some nice trousers I don't have to worry about fake tanning my legs!

Jojo Maman Bebe do mock wrap dresses with holes in for feeding here I have one I've worn twice now for similar occasions but tbh I've found it difficult to unhook my bra in them Confused I had my ds in early April so we're probably in a similar situation tummy wise Wink but I actually thought the last time I wore it a week or so ago that it does look a bit too 'maternity' as the tummy is quite pleated, which probably looks great with a bump. I couldn't find any other option though, and believe me I looked high and low.

Large scarf/shawl. If the baby faffs about at the crucial moment you will be less self conscious.

From experience, if you are planning to wear a top from your own wardrobe, try it on in advance. The night before is a bad time to realise how much bigger your boobs are!

Hmm, the Jojo dress is nice but it looks quite long, would probably be nearly calf length on me which isn't a good look!
And that's a good point about sizes, better try some old clothes on and see how they fit, am still mainly in maternity stuff for comfort which has probably made me feel thinner than I actually am! Don't want to trail round the shops with the baby, but equally don't want to order stuff that doesn't fit.
