I bought Korres Fig body milk this weekend and it is so good! Smells amazing and made my skin so soft. My other current fave is l'occitane almond oil shower wash.

Always looking for new things to try!

no one? really?

MissFoodie · 12/06/2012 12:20

well, I write about it, but not sure it counts?
and btw korres and l'occitane are not organic nor really "natural" as they both contain silicones, sls and some parabens, sorry!

redhappy · 12/06/2012 12:26

I just mean 'nice', good quality ingredients etc. On the Korres moisturiser it says it doesn't have any of those 3. Maybe it's a new product.

Ren, Dr Hauschka and Origins

redhappy · 12/06/2012 12:35

I love the smell of Dr Hauschka, but I find the moisturerisers heavy on my skin, like Weleda. I love Origins' modern friction, can definitely reccomend! I haven't tried Ren.

I like Barefoot Botanicals and Weleda, especially the Calendula baby range (use it on myself).

I don't use products with SLS, parabens, etc.

I don't know Korres, but L'Occitane is not 'natural', afaik.

MissFoodie · 12/06/2012 12:45

Korres labelling changes from one product to another, they do use sls in their shampoo and shower gels

biffnbuster · 12/06/2012 15:37

Olive oil (sometimes mixed with castar oil) or coconut oil used as a body/face moisturiser.

LemonTurd · 12/06/2012 15:43

Yes biff, I do OCM on my face and coconut oil on body. Trying to wean myself off products and it's saving me a fortune. I mix my shampoo with bicarb, makes it go further.

Callisto · 12/06/2012 15:45

Faith in Nature shampoos and conditioners. It all smells great and makes my hair and scalp feel good. It also doesn't trigger my scalp psoriasis, which some of the organic/sls-free shampoos do. Their soaps are great too.

I also love Essential Care organic lip silk and Jergens cocoa butter body lotion.

biffnbuster · 12/06/2012 21:10

I got a huge jar of cocnut oil from Holland and Barrett and it has lasted ages, and so does a litre of cooking oil ! It saves on packaging and has no additives. I will have to try the bicarb with shampoo, Lemonturd !

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 12/06/2012 21:18

Aveda Shampure-
the DH and I both use it.
He buys a litre bottle at Christmas and it lasts us a year.

And I love L'Occitane.
I bought the QVC TSV that has a 500ml bottle of the almond oil bodywash-mmmmm Smile

flipflopflap · 12/06/2012 21:36

Jason Vitamin E cream is amazing. Dr Hauschka and Lily Lolo make up are both really good.

I'm also really enjoying the SantaVerde cleanser I got in this months Amarya Beauty Box, I'll probably buy it again although it is a bit more than I normally pay.

omydarlin · 12/06/2012 21:41

Not sure how natural this really is and is definitely not luxury but I have been using this and my skin looks alright for once!

Good things cleanser

Mombojombo · 12/06/2012 21:52

I second Weleda baby stuff. Their weather balm (can't remember what it's called) is like 8-hr cream but not as pongy and cloying. Great on chapped hands and lips.

EllenParsons · 12/06/2012 23:50

I always thought L'occitane was "natural" but probably just due to their marketing - never really read the label tbh. Anyway I have one of their shower gels on the go at the moment which smells lovely, called fleur cherie or something.

Also liking some aveda cleanser and moisturiser which I am pretty sure are natural/organic?

MissFoodie · 12/06/2012 23:58

yes-ish, they use silicones now, this has increased in the last few years since they're part of estee lauder

lololizzy · 13/06/2012 00:10

Kosmea range
Barefoot Botanicals
Lush's Hair Doctor, which works miracles on my flaky hairline

lololizzy · 13/06/2012 00:12

Manuka Doctor range.
All the Medihoney range, which works wonders on my problem, sensitive skin

piprabbit · 13/06/2012 00:15

I'm a bit in love with Neal's Yard facial stuff. Although they seem to be tweaking their ranges at the moment which is confusing.

sc2987 · 13/06/2012 00:16

Dr Bronner liquid soap (I use it as shampoo, you only need a tiny amount).

Hurraw or Crazy Rumors lipbalms (very different textures but both good).

www.drbronner.com/DBMS/LS.htm
www.hurrawbalm.com/hurraw/
crazyrumors.com/

All American but you can buy them here.

lololizzy · 13/06/2012 00:17

oooh Dr B yes...i inhale it all the time! most health food shops do his stuff. The bottles make a fascinating read too! in an eccentric way. Or has he stopped doing the bible stuff on them?

CockBollocks · 13/06/2012 12:02

I have just discovered Organic Surge products, I love them!!

MissFoodie · 13/06/2012 12:11

yes, reviewing them at the mo, v good price too, face wash is lovely

CockBollocks · 13/06/2012 12:33

Have used the face wash for a while and recently bought a face cream which is really good.
