I CAN wear this bumble bee dress, can't I?

bought this dress from oasis at the weekend. initially attracted to it as DD1 is my little Bumble Bee (Beatrice) and thought what the hell i'll try it on. it looked great! plus had 20 per cent off. showed (D)H. he took the piss.
what are your thoughts on this dress? does DH have a point? do i ignore him? do i go out and buy an even more eccentric dress to serve him right? i'm 25, surely at my age i should be able to wear something a little bit 'out there'?

It's lovely. I have one very similar from Oasis which is covered in dragon-flies. I did mistakenly tell DP I had bought a dress with blue-bottles on.

after comments on here i have decided that yes I can wear the lovely dress, and to ignore DH. he needs to be careful, it's me who buys his clothes! (he thinks they just magically appear in the wardrobe)

He likes the dress. I've had many compliments on it, and am a size 14 and considerably older than you so should apparently not be leaving the house at all according to some on here! I usually wear it with a cardigan and a blue belt and tan shoes - wedges or courts.

It's really nice, but I wouldn't say it's 'out there' at all lol, its quite conservative.
