Whoever told me about coconut oil for makeup removal....

THANKYOU!!
Can't remember which MNetter, but I asked for a cheaper alternative to my pricy Clinique makeup remover.
I have tons of coconut oil in my kitchen cupboard and had never considered it!
Not only does it work better on all my waterproof eye gunk, it doesn't have the irritation / greasy factor...I do follow up with Liz Earle cleanse and polish but after that there's no residue, just soft skin! And the tub I used, is only £1.69 so I didn't even have to buy organic health food stuff!

we used to use it for baby massage but never thought to use it for make up removal!

Grin at penis colada!

RobinSparkles · 10/06/2012 00:04

Ok, I used it tonight - seems to have worked well!

Just think how much money I will save - it has replaced my cleanser, moisturiser, body lotion and hair conditioner!

This is why I love MN! :o (Unless I wake up in the morning covered in spots, then I'm blaming you lot! Wink )

Now don't laugh! Does it smell like coconut? In a bounty chocolate fake kinda way?

MrsMeow · 08/03/2013 12:56

Boots sell it for £2 odd as well, in a lovely glass jar.

Gorgeous stuff :) Prolific, it smells like actual coconut, just like summer!
