doormat, they're all our babies from the child modelling thread

doormat · 22/02/2006 18:38

really allie
putting up with bows like that, the poor things

mummytosteven · 22/02/2006 18:38

I like the original dress. But it's definitely a special occasion type dress - you wouldn't really go down to the soft play with your DD in it!

alliebaba · 22/02/2006 18:40

no. i'd cover a bog roll with it

paolosgirl · 22/02/2006 18:42

In the name of the wee man!!!! Though anyone who would put a 60 quid knitted cape on their offspring is barking anyway

doormat · 22/02/2006 18:44

IMO baby bows on heads are for chavs

alliebaba · 22/02/2006 18:45

and scraping bit of hair into a ponytail like a teletubby sucks too IMO

Twiglett · 22/02/2006 18:48

spray at snafu's baby headbands .. always thought them totally ridiculous

but I liked the big green flower trousers I must admit

paolosgirl · 22/02/2006 18:49

Ooooh, yes!!! YUCK YUCK YUCK - and if you can accompany it with pierced ears, then so much the better!

alliebaba · 22/02/2006 18:50

and a nice gold bangle

cupcakes · 22/02/2006 18:51

I like the dress and poncho. The wolf is a bit scary looking but I can ignore this if I focus on the pretty petticoat trim.

Hulababy · 22/02/2006 18:54

I think the trousers are quite nice. DD would like them.

Don't think any of them are THAT bad to get the reactions they are on here. Certinaly many are far more tasteful than some of the tarty girls's styles you get in the high street at the moment.

SoupDragon · 22/02/2006 18:55

The dress with the wolf on it is truly hideous. If you put your DD in that you have more money than taste. IMO.

No, clothes don't have to be boring like the t shirt spidermama posted but they don't have to be horrendously tasteless either.

laughinglil · 22/02/2006 18:55

i think some of the oilily dresses are beautiful not much really for boys though.. only a few little things! I love this little dress!

sorry can't do links!

SoupDragon · 22/02/2006 18:56

The trousers are fine though .

Hulababy · 22/02/2006 18:59

I don't like the dress particularly either, but a lot of the stuff is fine.

cupcakes · 22/02/2006 18:59

The prices are ridiculous.

alliebaba · 22/02/2006 18:59

just too much dollar for kids clothes

Mercy · 22/02/2006 19:00

Who the hell wants to have clothes inspired by Little Red Riding Hood - my dd is petrified of that story (I think I am too).

Awful, awful clothes and way too expensive. Sadly Spidermama's link is about my limit (although we do get given expensive stuff by rellies aometimes)

lanismum · 22/02/2006 19:00

i love oililly stuff, my dd wears loads of it, hate the headbands though, especially on babies with about 3 hairs on their head! at least oililly stuff dont put 'teenage whore' or similar slogans on their kids clothes!

lanis you must be minted if she's got loads.. bought some nice bits from gap in the sale the other day.. no mention of whores or women of the night...

geekgrrl · 22/02/2006 19:03

another lover of oilily here
sadly the prices are somewhat astronomical for kids' clothes though.

lanismum · 22/02/2006 19:04

hee hee i love gap clothes for the same reason, no ladies of the night slogans def not minted, just spend all my money on dds clothes, i look like a pike!
