Where to buy decent jewelry for a gift?

I know you lot will be able to help. It's my sister's 18th birthday soon. I want to buy here a piece of jewelry that she can keep. I'm thinking of somewhere like Links of London but I can't see anything there that I like at the moment. Where else can I look? Budget probably up to 200 pounds.

I'd recommend (as per an earlier poster) Shaun Leane. Classic but edgy, and was obviously good enough for Alexander McQueen to partner with. And British.

Failing that, I'd buy from London Rocks. Everything is handmade by British based designer-makers and you get much better value for money than you do with some of the big brand names (or smaller names who claim to handmake but actually outsource).

There are some beautiful danish jewellers that I spotted when I was in Copenhagen which I can’t remember the names of right now but will come back once I’ve checked the label on the box as they would be perfect too
