My skin is like sand paper, red and sensitive and hurts. Everything I put on it stings except Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream so am covered in that (I look very shiny! Grin)

My skin looked fab cleansing with sweet almond oil and had been doing it for about 3 or 4 months and now it is SHITE! Sad

Help!

I bought mine on amazon.

Thanks will look into getting some. Interestingly it is a main ingredient in Liz Earle's Superskin cream.

Bio oil stinging? maybe you are allergic to almond oil.

Tbh most creams and lotion sting - it's just sensitive skin. Skin is fine today, so will try going back to OCM but will make sure I moisturise afterwards to see if that makes a difference.

valiumredhead if you use Dr Hauschka cleansers they basically say that after cleansing, your skin should re-adjust and re-balance its self without adding moisturiser, and if you do load it with stuff you disturb your acid mantle and also stop your skin re-generating during the night blah blah blah.

Sounds great in theory, but I was dry as a stick and my fine lines were so much more noticeable! They do rhythmic night conditioners, which are as thin as water but did help a little, but they're £50-odd quid for a month course and they come in fiddly little glass 'ampoules', which I dropped in the sink and smashed to bits more than once. RAAAAA52GE!

Rosehip oil is lovely, I got some for Holland and Barrett for about £15 I think. Lasts ages!

Just ordered some from Amazon and only a fiver - bargain. Lots of people on there saying they mix it in with their normal face cream.
