How to shrink a Zara linen T?

I bought a couple of the curved hem linen T's a couple of months ago, then promptly lost weight. They no longer look slouchy, just way too big. Any suggestions on best way to shrink them a bit, without turning them into clothes for my 18month old?

The label suggest washing at 30, how hot should I go?

I'd go 90 degrees and tumble dry too. But I'm a risk taker Wink

Straight to 90?! Perhaps I'll try that with least favourite colour first..
Thanks

I just (deliberately) shrank a drapey style linen t shirt.

What is required is nerves of steel, a 60 degree wash and if it still looks on the big side, 15 mins in a dryer but not on the hottest setting. Worked for me.
Good luck.

Thanks, if only my Miele had a 'shrink' setting!
I've 4 to shrink, plenty of goes to experiment with.

I put mine on a 50 wash and it came up very slightly smaller.

Mine has just been in in a 60 and it isn't any smaller! It's going in on a 90 will report back.

Oh interesting! Yes love to hear how you get on after a 90 wash! I've lost circa 20lbs so need a fair amount of shrinkage. Am resisting re buying, but I suspect I may have too.

Adjust the seams by 1/4 inch all round on the sewing machine. You can always undo it if you put the weight back onGrin
