Got some left over birthday money and been looking at how badly fitting my bras are now some I'm going to treat myself.
But where is the best place to get fitted at my local shopping centre we have:
-Marks and spencers
-bebenhams
-la senza
-boux

Out of those, I would say Debenhams (not come across Boux though) M&S are notoriously bad - especially with larger busts. Debenhams will have some lovely Freya bras etc: different brands so you ought to find a pretty one with a good fit. Most people are smaller back sizes and larger cup sizes than they think!

Avoid M&S like the plague for fitting - their bras are fine they just generally have no idea how to fit.

A local independent shop would be your best bet TBH but it's always a good idea to measure yourself before you start, just so you have an idea of the size you need. A quick look at the bravissimo fitting guide here is advisable too - it's best to have some idea of how these things work so you know if your being fitted properly.

The measurement under the bust = band size (NO adding 4, ever). THe difference between the band measurement and the measurement over the breasts gives the cup size - one inch = 1 cup size. So, 30 under the bust and 34 over = 30C. 30 under 35 over = 30D. 30 under 36 over = 30DD and so on.

Measuring only ever gives a guide size - as with all clothing sizes vary and fit not what's printed on the label is whats important.

All that said, the best fitters fit by eye and wont measure you at all...

Happy shopping!!

Highly unlikely I would say!

Before you go, have a look at the Bravissimo website, they have some video clips which show how a well fitting bra should look. Might be worth knowing just in case the fitter is useless. Debenhams are (IMO) better than the other options but still a bit hit and miss so it is worth knowing what to look for.

NO!! Sorry

33 over = 30C. 30 under 34 over = 30D. 30 under 35 over = 30DD and so on.
