Boring, I know, interview outfit!

I have a job interview next week - it's pretty much my dream job (on paper!) but far removed from what I currently do so need all the confidence boosting tricks I can muster!

I'm dithering with whether I should buy a new interview outfit for the occasion.

The firm seem to be pretty modern and highly professional so I think dress code for the interview will be very smart/ polished. I have plenty of city type shift dresses but feel as if I could do with the confidence boost of wearing something new that is flattering and comfy.

My work wardrobe consists mainly of dresses so have been looking at dresses online and this is my shortlist so far:

www.johnlewis.com/330301/Product.aspx this is my favourite but at top of price range

www.johnlewis.com/319754/Product.aspx

www.johnlewis.com/319742/Product.aspx

www.johnlewis.com/252702/Product.aspx least favourite but most affordable

I've opted for black as it's the most flexible in terms of wearing it in different ways/ accessories/ shoes etc. if (and big if!) get asked back for a second interview.

Weather dependent I'm planning on wearing a dress (tbc!) with a coat similar to this www.boden.co.uk/en-GB/Womens-Coats-Jackets/Coats/BR031/Womens-Elegant-Coat.html?NavGroupID=2 but in a fuschia pink with black patent heels, small black leather bag and my leather folder. If the weather is hot then I'll ditch the coat and wear dark purple suede heels instead for a small splash of colour. Not planning on wearing any jewellery other than wedding rings and small earrings.

Any opinions/ suggestions would be gratefully received - BTW I'm 5ft 1, hourglass figure size 10/12 and fairly large norkage so high necks are generally a no no although I don't want to be flashing cleavage! Meant to say that I'm not keen on sleeveless/ short sleeved dresses and prefer 3/4 length sleeves to cover up the bingo wings!
