yes, it is very interesting. THanks fluffy. I have some scholls and I always thought they were supposed to be good for your legs and feet. So actually they are not. Food for thought this thread.

Actually it does annoy me quite a lot that shoes which are considered 'smart', ie court shoes with a bit of a heel, are actually quite bad for you. Yet we are expected to wear them day in and day out in office jobs which require smartness - we couldn't get away with kid-style Start Rites!

Fascinating, thanks fluffy. So traditional Jesus sandals- two straps across and one round the back of the heel are ok? What other shoes are good? I have straight toes but I suspect the beginning of a bunion, but my feet are v wide so I do find shoe shopping hard.

Fluffy - just had a double bunion op so loving flip flops as there is nothing to rub on my sore joints - unlike trainers etc. What should I be wearing bearing in mind my feet were caused by over extended ligaments. I have totally flat feet (but can still do the splits in all directions Wink.
I've just ordered fit flops for the comfort factor.

I have fit flops and birkies and I have straight toes. I don't have to claw to keep them on at all, and the bit that goes over my foot is pretty high upConfused
