Is there such thing as a sun hat that doesn't make me look like a total numpty?

A panama always looks great and very stylish.

Had a white paper straw cowboy hat stylee from Asda last year. A bit 'Ibeefa' but lasted the holidays.

Excellent! Thanks for all the replies. Generally the consensus seems to be default numpty. I may have to try the debenhams one, that looked the least ridiculous. Not sure I can pull off daisy duke (unless she has shrunk and put on three stone recently) Grin

trumpton I am in love with your daughter's hat! I've got a fabulous sunhat from M+S that makes me feel quite glam. Had it years though so can't link.
Hats are all, all about confidence, I think, and I firmly believe that there's a hat for everyone.

I was thinking this today! Thank god for mn. I'm thinking trilby/ panama type thing but I've a massive head and most hats are a bit tight. Are scarves good for protecting you too? A white headscarf could work. I'm vair sensitive to the sun Sad.

Scarves are good. Also just using leave in conditioner and pulling hair back so no exposed scalp, but my hsir's quite thick.

Ah thank you madmomma when I say say she bought it I mean I bought it for her as a treat her baby is due August and she needed a treat. She picked it up to admire it then sighed and went to put it down so I whisked it out of her hand and bought it. Grin

She looks lovely in it.
