Very unsure how to post a link.

I am looking for a comfortable everyday shoe for very sensitive feet. Must go with anything, like jeans to a skirt. Having absolutely no fashion sense, I am not certain if this is mumsy, or uncool or whatever.

Please tell me what you think.

Be careful with Merrell, I've had rashes and reactions from their shoes in the past.

Mummalish · 23/05/2012 17:18

The Merrell ones do look comfy, but too chunky looking for me.

I have bought the Ecco ones, I will just have to look like my granny.

If they're massively hideous when I try them on, will return.

I like the Ecco shoes - no to the merrell. I have sensitive feet - wore a pair of camper sandals yesterday - I've been trying to break them in for 3 years - still got blisters Sad

I had a pair of campers a few years back. They were beautiful. Gave me horrendous blisters. I wore socks with them till they moulded to my feet and they became my every days wear. Loved them so much. Till my feet grew a size after pregnancy!

I don't like, but if I'm going for a walking sandal, I prefer to go for Merrell, Tiva or similar that looks deliberate & I have slightly less rugged (but prettier) sandals for those occasions when a walking sandal isn't appropriate.

If you have a House of Fraser nearby, Bertie have some nice flats in at the moment (similar sort of price). Not sure they'll be as cushioned as the Ecco though.

I think they're nice - as long as you don't dress like a granny lol, I am sure they will look fine...

I wonder whether you need to see a Musculo skeletal podiatrist Mummalish
your symptoms of sensitive blistering feet would indicate an unusual distribution of pressure on your feet when weightbearing. You may benefit from some orthotics to distribute the pressure more normally.

I am assuming from the sandals you are of pensionable age and will be wearing them with your best per una floral skirt and Tshirt

They are a rip off at £75.

EggWhiteOmelette · 26/05/2012 20:08

They are OK. Look comfy.

Better than fitflops!
