Have Alexander McQueen skull scarves had their day? I've been looking for a navy and grey scarf for some time and have come across this

www.alexandermcqueen.co.uk/scarf-boutique/skull-scarves/ACF,en_GB,sc.html?scarf3d=false

Which would be perfect in terms of colour, but wonder if the style has been copied to much now?

Quite Lulu.

I forget sometimes that unless it costs £1.50 and was made in a sweatshop and sold in Primark that its wrong to post links on mn Wink

I got one for £3 on ebay - not real of course.

The difference between a real and a fake is quite obvious. The real deal is quite loosely woven silk, beautiful but very fragile. DS has put a snag in one of mine playing pirates. May have to get him a Primark copy!

I love them. The ones you linked to are lush, especially the petrol coloured one and the tobacco coloured one. I don't like fakes so if i was going to get a skull scarf i would go for the real deal.
