I dream of a buttery soft leather hobo bag, can you find it?

It will be the softest of soft leather, but thick and grainy textured too.

It will be tan, or teal, or navy, or mustard, or orange, or green, but not black or white.

It may have hardware, and very probably a big tassel.

It may be one of the big designers, but won't shout about it. It could be non-branded, but must be high quality.

It will be roomy.

I will want to stroke it.

I think good quality and subtle = Fossil. BUT all of their bags this season seem to have keys instead of tassels. There is a New With Tags Fossil Cognac seeling on ebay

How much are you wanting to spend?

Oh, the Cognac has a tassle, that's why I bothered linking it.

Honestly, my budget might be able to stretch... Dh just got a bonus, and I plan on helping him spend it! I think £250 tops...ish.

I love the quality of mulberry bags, but don't like the name tags, and fancy something a bit more...hobo ish!

You don't get a much softer bag than a Prada.

Love the prada, think it will be a smidge out of my price range!

If probably go for a Fossil in that case. They're good hardwearing every day bags that withstand most things (including toddlers.)

Another vote for Fossil but be sure to check out TK Maxx as they have tonnes in at the moment.

Mmm, the fossil one doesn't do it for me.

I have the Mulberry Tillie in tan and it is splogy and gorgeous. Also doesn't have the obvious bling on it.

P&M Mariella? their bags are soft soft soft squidgey deliciousness with no big bling.... Love em.

Alternately, this is the softest bag I have ever owned myself...

TB use the same leather supplier as Mulberry but for some reason don't charge anywhere near as much!!

Quinn - I have had my eye on that one for a while but wondered what it was like in the flesh. Is the leather good quality? I had anm MD bag a few years ago but the quality was not brill esp around the handles. Can I ask, is it wearing well?
