Wedding wear - hat or fascinator?

Going to a smart-but-trendy wedding soon and am in a headwear quandary.

My outfit is navy blue, accessorised with hot pink. I think a full-on hat will be too much and I think I should go for navy blue headwear, nothing OTT.

I have been trying to find a pillbox hat a la Posh at the Royal Wedding or Kate at a recent wedding, but no luck. I've been scouring the eBay sellers too, to no avail.

Any ideas ladies, please?

Can I be controversial?

Neither
I hate the weddingy look

So, did you manage to find something?

PoppyWearer · 10/05/2012 19:39

I ordered the one you linked to by mistake, thanks MrsL.

Should arrive tomorrow, then we'll see!

Oh, good. I thought that was the best of the two in the end as well.

TBH with ready to wear millinery it's 'done' to choose the hat first and work from there. It's always very, very hard to get a hat to suit a pre-assmbled outfit, not that you'd know anything about that Wink. Is only really for those who can stretch to commissioning a milliner.
