Breastfeeding friendly dress needed for christening please?

DC3 is due in 6 weeks and we are having the christening in August. I am hoping to BF. I know it is a while away but I wanted to have a few ideas.

So I need a BF friendly dress. I am expecting to be a 16-18. I am a 14 now.

I am 5ft 8 and I don't mind having my legs on show, also I have yet to find a maxi dress that looks good on me. Not sure if it is because I am tall. I am rather big chested at the minute a 38DD, due to be re measured soon.

Thank you!

I'd honestly wait til the baby's born before you even look. I had ds2 5 weeks ago and went to a wedding last weekend. It caused me endless stress finding an outfit tbh, as I had so much time to worry about it and no idea what size I'd end up. As it happens, I've settled at about a 14 (having been a 10-12 pre pregnancy) and am now huuuuuge of boob, at a good 32G. You'll be surprised at how much your chest might grow when you're feeding, I hardly changed bra siz at all til 3 days after birth. I was hoping in some vague, silly part of my mind that as I'd not stacked on weight in pregnancy that I could wear something I already had but that is clearly ridiculous.
In the end, I wore this in black and felt comfortable. The cut is very flattering on a post baby tummy, every other dress I tried on made me look much bigger than I actually am because of my new mega-bust. ANd as it's relatively plain (ie boring and safe) it'll be alright if I need to wear it again, either for another occasion, or just day to day. I wish you luck though, all the bf-ing friendly wear I have come across is desperately dull and uninspiring.

All the ones I seem to find stop at a size 14 or are about 80 pounds (sorry no idea how to get a pound sign on a mac)

With any luck I'll find something.

I think the jojo sizes are quite generous fwiw. I bought a medium and if anything it's a bit big.

I'm going to do yet another plug for the Sainsburys fake wrap dresses they have in at the mo. Lots of patterns/colours, £20 new or £9 sale ones, I've accessorised my fave one (sage/seafoam green with a small shoulder pad) with gold and mink bits and everyone thought twas MUCH more expensive. They're not on the website, which is all Gok Wan-tastic currently.

At least if you have a big sainsburys near you, it's a fairly easy trip out with new baby once you've settled into your new boobs! I'm a 32HH and bought a 14 dress; little baggy at the waist but good belt sorts it. I wear a boob tube (actually a belly band leftover from pregnancy - the shame!) underneath so can pull that up, the dress aside, and still keep my mega-boob fairly well hidden!

Thanks. I hadn't thought of looking at sainsburys. I never remember they do clothes Blush
