Need some advice on where to take my mother shopping

I'm going to take my mum shopping in a couple of weeks. We haven't been shopping for a while as she hasn't been well and will actually probably not be able to shop for long as she still gets tired easily. She is 73, size 14/16 and can't wear heels and we need something for lunch at the races. Does anyone have any ideas for either outfits or good shops please?

Have a look at
FennWrightManson
Planet
Both of them are sold in large department stores, so easy to try on if there's anything she likes. Another label that may suit is Liz Claiborne - I couldn't find an online site however.
Given the weather is so dodgy at the moment though, would she consider either a lightweight wool/silk mix, or a linen trouser suit?

She does like trousers so a trouser suit migh be just the thing. I'll google Liz Claiborne thanks

I recently had a lot of success with FennWrightMason with my 69 yo mother. They are in House of Fraser, and we went to Meadowhall (Sheffield).

We'll be in Norwich & they have a House of Fraser. What did your mum choose?

Have you used a personal shopper instore? Mum doesn't like a lot of fuss so wouldn't want to make her feel uncomfortable. Was just thinking I'd do it myself.

Defintely go for a personal shopping appointment -- a person bring clothes to you is so much easier than trolling around.

Two if there are two department stores close to each other -- example one appt at 10:30 and another at 2pm with lunch in between.

Oh that's a good find she'd like that and it's single breasted, better for a large bust I think.
