Supportive, fashionable trainer type shoes - do they exist?

I have very flat feet & overpronate when I walk. I've been living in converse for most of my life, but I really need some shoes with arch support because I'm getting old and my knees ache

Can anyone recommend something a bit like converse but with arch support?

Thank you.

Have a go on some Superga's. They're more robust than Converse IMO - sorry I can't link from phone. Great range of colours, sometimes reduced lots in TKMaxx. I'm a recent convert thanks to S&B!

what about the fitflop range? they are supposed to be supportive i think?

Get some orthotics ! Good ski shops do custom made ones (multi TX by SIDAS) while you wait, usually about £80 but well worth it. I just bung them in whatever I'm wearing - have bought one size bigger in some styles to fit them in. Has changed my life getting them done, and may help delay knee replacement surgery as good alignment reduces wear and tear arthritis.

PF Flyers are ace. Converse are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn but I can walk all day in PF Flyers.

Fit Flop Sneakers. Supremely comfy, simialr style to Cons, but a hundred times more robust.

I have orthotics, as suffer from similarly pronating feet. But I buy them off the peg for about £20. Bupa's website sells some pretty good ones.

Oh, and I tried some Fitflop sneakers, but they looked like boats on my feet. Maybe just compared to the relatively compact Converse I'm used to...
