Bare Minerals - love or hate?

I got a bare minerals starter kit and do quite like it. My skin is slowly getting better through acid and the OCM. I do have random flaky patches on my spots (stunning aren't I!!) but the spots themselves are getting smaller. Less like plague boils!

I tried to use the foundation and skin products but it sort of collected in the dry bits and make me look flaky. Is this something I am doing wrong or should I just wait until my skin is smoother?

I really like the idea of Bare Minerals - the all natural type thing - and am tempted to buy a few more bits but it is quite expensive! Some of the colour sets look really nice.

Where is the best place to buy it and what are your favourite products?

Don't like. Tried in a Selfridges and I thought the look was overdone / fake looking. I am however deathly pale, so that may be part of it as like many brands (despite the salesperson's protests) I doubt they had a shade that was light enough.

Also thought it was drying after wearing for a few hours, but again I have a naturally dry skin.

Not sure I dare buy from eBay!

I NEED some buxom lip glosses - so tingly!

I love Bare Minerals and could never go back to the palaver of foundation and powder now. I learned early on that yes, it's about your brush and brush technique (working it in in a swirling motion). However, I found the kabuki brushes suggested just shed hair everywhere and I use my faithful large blusher brush from that Tesco range (can't remember her name - good brushes though). Also I found using 'normal' moisturiser wasn't compatible with it and I read somewhere online that you need to use a moisturiser without 'mineral oil' (totally different thing to 'minerals' - more like paraffin/petroleum etc.) in it to not get this problem with it not 'sitting' right on the skin.

I use Ren Frankincense night cream under it...in fact I use it day and night and it's a perfect match. I find the more 'natural', 'organic' and paraben free products are usually mineral oil-free and the best match. Usually now it lasts all day without creasing unless it's been a REALLY sweaty hot day but what make up does last well through sweat?

I've been using it for six months and find t fine. My skin has cleared up loads, it is drying though so now I need to make sure I moisturise. I bought Lilly lilo brushes which were much better.

I use bm primer, powder, veil and radiance. The only thing I ddnt like was the concealer. Everyone kept saying I looked tired.
