Upper lip hair (tash) removal

I have been having my upper lip waxed for a few years now, and it seems to be needed more frequently now. I do bleach it in between, but am really sensitive about it. Has anyone tried permanent removal? Any good? Does it work? Is it really permanent? Any idea of cost too? I live in the north west in case anyone can recommend anywhere good.

It worked for a few years (maybe 4 or 5?) but it's now back Angry. To be fair, they do tell you when you're having laser hair removal that you will need to have more courses in the future as nothing is permanent, but I don't have the time to do it these days.

If you don't mind sticking at it, the Phillips IPL home hair remover may be worth thinking about. It's only temporary, but as long as you keep on top of it you can stay tash free.

Wax strips? I find them brilliant. And cheap too.
My mum had permanent removal, and they seem to have kept away. It was years ago now though.

i had laser treatment about 15 years ago and it worked brilliantly. I had to have lots of sessions before it stopped growing back but i did have a big excess hair problem. I have started over the last year to get one or two hairs back (prob to do with going through menopause) but I'm so glad i had it done. Ive no idea what the prices are like now though. I'd tried electrolysis, waxing, bleaching and hair remover cream, all of which had their own downsides. Laser was very successful for me.

I know a friend who after trying everything is now trying threading and she is v pleased with the results.

don't have much "up there" but get it waxed about once every three or four months. Quick, very briefly painful and cheap. Bikini wax too. Wouldn't do anything else. :)
